It is possible that Briana was more affected by the break-up with Javi than she is willing to admit.
In one of this season’s episodes of Teen Mom 2, producer Alexis had a serious sit-down with Briana about her relationship with Javi. Briana revealed that the couple is no longer together. She confessed, “I saw a different side of him I’ve never seen before” when she expressed hesitancy to move her entire life to Delaware after only a few months of dating.
Her sister Brittany chimed in, “He tryna trap a baby mama just like he got Kail stuck in that raggedy a** state.” She seemed thrilled that it was not her sister. However, Javi has managed to “trap” a new girl in the time since the scene was filmed.
He recently announced that he is expecting a child with his new girlfriend Lauren Comeau.
