According to The Ashley in June, MTV decided to go with a girl who has never been on any of the other shows in the franchise.
The outlet’s sources alleged that Farrah’s replacement will be an MTV star known for her appearances on Are You The One? and The Challenge .
“[The network] realized that the fans weren’t going to be excited about either option,” the source said. “So they continued to look.”
It seemed like a done deal that Cheyenne Floyd and her baby daddy Cory Wharton would be the newest addition to the Teen Mom OG cast! Cheyenne and Cory have a one-year-old daughter, Ryder.
In addition to not being a previous cast member of Teen Mom or 16 and Pregnant, there was another controversy over casting Cheyenne: she didn’t have her first pregnancy until she was 24! We don’t know about you, but that doesn’t sound very “teen mom” to us.
