She later calls officers again to do a “wellness checkup” on Kaiser while he’s with Doris. “He’s four. What happened was over the weekend he got a bruise on his butt. No one called me about it, but they called and made a police report. Now, DSS [Department of Social Services] is trying to investigate and hold my child at their house…. I have primary custody and they have supervised visits,” she adds. “No one will contact me from DSS, and then they won’t answer to let me talk to my child. So I just wanted to send officers over there to see if he’s okay and just make sure everything’s okay.”

In another call, Jenelle reveals, “I’m calling to get an escort to actually pick up my son.” She goes on, “CPS [Child Protective Services] just advised me that I should have an officer there in case the grandmother gets mad.” She reveals, “I have primary custody, and over the weekend she tried accusing my husband of child abuse, and she had DSS called and everything… Columbus county took over over the past few days, and they just told me two hours ago, they left my house and said ‘Go get your son.’ They said ‘Take the police with you, take the custody order with you, and bring an escort because the grandmother might not be too happy.’ But I have primary custody, and the father just has every other weekend visitation.”
