In a later scene, Briana spills to her friend that she isn’t so sure about it. “I don’t know why he wants to propose right now,” she confesses. “We’ve had a conversation about what we want for our lives and what we want in the future, but it wasn’t like ‘I want to get married with you, I want to have your kids right now.’” She adds, “We’ve only been together for a few months, so it’s, like, super fast.”
“If he does ask you to marry him this weekend, are you going to say yes or no?” Briana’s friend asks. She spills, “I don’t know!”
After Briana’s trip to Delaware, she spills the news to her sister Brittany. “I went to Delaware with Javi to visit,” she says. “I knew about the ring. Mom told me about it. I’d just never seen it.” She adds, “He gave it to me, but it wasn’t a proposal. He didn’t get on one knee, it wasn’t like ‘Will you Marry me?’”
