Kailyn recently shared this snap of her second son Lincoln cuddling with Lux. But it’s clear she’s not calling him Lux! “Russell, can you say mama?” Kailyn asks. Lincoln says, “Russell say mama!” It seems clear that Kailyn is now using Lux’s middle name for her son!
Kailyn soon confirmed it on Twitter. “Does Lincoln still call baby lux baby lo?” Twitter user @themommy_22 wrote in. “I was [just] watching your snaps and i started thinking about that lol.” Kailyn responded, “He calls him Russell.”
Fans know that this isn’t the only one of Kailyn’s sons who goes by his middle name. Lincoln is commonly called Marshall by his family!
Kail may not have realized that this would bring up more discussions of her controversial name game.

Isaac and lincoln are fine, they’re normal, russell and marshall are pretty normal too (none of the names are my taste except Isaac), and ‘lux’ just came out of nowhere.” User PygmyFists wrote, “I definitely favor Russell over Lux but jeez, it took you collectively a whole d*mn year to name this child and you’re STILL not set?”
But many pointed out that it might not be a permanent change. User yesnoic wrote, ”We call our girls by both of their first and middle names interchangeably – Kail could be doing the same.” Either way, many just want Kail to make up her mind! “So f*cking stupid with all the name ‘changes,’” wrote user leafmealonebae. User heathensam wrote, “I totally agree. First she couldn’t come up with a name. Then she changed the last name. Now he’s Russel[l]. He’s gonna have an identity crisis by the time he’s 4.”

Ironically, the only other person whose opinion matters hasn’t chimed in much. That would be Lux’s father, Chris Lopez! But soon after Lux was born, Chris didn’t have much to do with him at all.
“My guess is he won’t acknowledge paternity so she can’t file for child support,” an insider told Radar Online. “They give a form in the hospital, but he didn’t sign it.”
They added, “Her lawyer drew something up and they are going through the court because he doesn’t have any rights to Lux without signing. He’s not seeing the baby right now for those reasons.”
Of course, Chris has since seen his son, and seems to be co-parenting with Kailyn. But now it seems there may be a reason why Kailyn kept her baby daddy away: was Chris abusing Kailyn while they were together? It’s Briana DeJesus who’s spreading these rumors!
