Jenelle recently shared a number of photos of her in-ground pool since she moved in 2017. It seems that in all of the photos, there is no fencing or barrier around the pool. In some shots, her children are standing by the pool although there’s clearly nothing to prevent them from falling in.
Fans have begun to call Jenelle out for this. “Ya’ll need a fence around the pool before a child drowns,” one commenter wrote on Instagram. “I’m pretty sure where [Jenelle] lives too it’s by law that you have to have a fence around your pool.”
Recently, a spokesperson for the North Carolina Building Codes department confirmed with Radar Online that Jenelle is indeed breaking the law by not fencing her pool in. They revealed that “it is the law to have a barrier around an in-ground pool.”
