It’s been several months since Farrah Abraham’s historic boot from MTV’s Teen Mom OG. Although many believed she would fall to the wayside and become irrelevant after she stopped appearing on one of MTV’s most successful programs, she hasn’t wasted any time making headlines since her departure.
It seems that Farrah will remain relevant for years to come, but not for the best reasons. Instead of her accomplishment or praise being her claim to fame, she’s instead made headlines for scandal after scandal.
Now, fans are shocked to see that she may have gone even farther than expected. Has Farrah just been busted giving her nine-year-old daughter Sophia alcohol?

Farrah Abraham has been a controversial figure ever since her days on 16 and Pregnant. From the beginning, fans have either loved her or hated her, but one thing has stayed consistent: her ability to get involved in massive scandals.
What put Farrah on the map was her decision to shoot an adult entertainment video with adult star James Deen and market it as a leaked tape when Teen Mom halted production in 2012. Even though she’s stuck to her story that the tape was filmed in private and accidentally leaked, no one is buying her story.
When Amber Portwood was released from jail and Teen Mom OG began to film, there were only three girls on the roster. Because of Farrah’s decision to release her video, the producers decided to only include Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood in the reboot. However, only a few episodes in, Farrah was reunited with the rest of the cast… even if they weren’t particularly happy about it.
That was far from the last of Farrah’s scandals. From starring in adult cam shows to her sometimes questionable parenting decisions, she’s made headlines year after year for bad news. Now fans are wondering if this action takes the cake.
The fact that Farrah’s daughter Sophia even has an Instagram account is considered scandalous by many. Even though Instagram users must be 13 to have an account, Farrah managed to bypass the rule by alleging that she is the one managing and posting on the account.

Farrah and Sophia have been sharing many pictures of their travels in the Dubai, but one caught her fans’ attention immediately. “This should never end,” Sophia (aka Farrah) captioned this shot of her drinking a bubbly gold liquid out of what appears to be a small champagne glass. Even though it’s not clear what she’s drinking, many didn’t put it past Farrah to give her daughter alcohol.
“I hope thats Apple juice smh,” wrote Instagram user @shinning_sammy92. User @ladylada7 wrote, “I can TOTALLY see her letting her child drink champagne or something. It’s Farah we’re talking about. She lives on planet dilusion.” User @lilmamasocal6 agreed, “Knowing farrah that’s champagne.”
But not everyone was so sure. “Right, like farrah’s going to allow her young daughter to drink alcohol, you haters are just so f*cking ridiculous it’s untrue,” wrote @amybernicexo. User @lauralacey.smith jumped to Farrah’s aid, writing, “Jesus christ people u really think @farrah__abraham would be that stupid she would give @sophialabraham alcohol?? Its probably fizzy apple ade. Who knows and tbh why should u lot even care? It’s not like u know any of them personally.”

But Farrah just doesn’t see things the same way. In 2016, when Sophia was seven, Farrah defended her decisions to Radar Online. “I’m right there,” Farrah said. “Seven-year-olds are lighthearted when it comes to Snapchat. If she wants messages and she’s hyper then good for her before bed time.”
This concern came up with fans again recently when Sophia was caught talking with grown men on Instagram live. “Farrah lets Sophia Instagram live unsupervised with thousands of strangers,” wrote reddit user h974974, sharing an image of Sophia streaming on social media. They added, “Some [of the viewers] clearly seem to be pedophiles.”
In the screen capture, there are many seemingly harmless comments, including “Hi from France say ‘bonjour,’” and “You sound like your mom.” But even in this one screen grab, there’s one comment that’s quite alarming: “Hi you are hot,” reads a message from one user. And that’s not Farrah’s only offense when it comes to her social media activities.
It’s not just Sophia’s social media presence that has fans worried… it’s also what she’s exposed to. Farrah recently came under fire for allowing Sophia to film and watch her NSFW plastic surgery procedures.
When Farrah shared this video of her getting injections in her butt, fans thought it was just another classic Farrah overshare. That is, until they spotted her daughter Sophia in the background apparently filming the entire process! Fans across the board were disturbed by Farrah’s choice.
“Sophia is an accessory as far as Farrah’s concerned,” wrote reddit user emdee39 about the update. “The sad part is that I’m not even shocked by her awful parenting decisions anymore. What can you do? Nobody will ever convince her that she’s wrong.” User KellyBees wrote, “This makes me sad. It doesn’t seem right. I’m all for sharing the world and being open with your child, but this feels gross. Sophia should be in school, learning about the world, reading fun books, playing with friends, and growing as a little human. Instead, she’s busy filming her Mom getting needles in her butt to plump it up. Her expression makes me think she’s not happy about it either.”
