Now, Jenelle’s side of the story is coming out after the audio of her 911 call to the police has surfaced. In the call, she begs the police for help.
“I was trying to pick up my son [Kaiser] and the grandparent [Doris] and my ex [Nathan] is trying to keep my son,” Jenelle says. “I have primary custody… they’re supposed to meet me at 5pm at the gas station. Now they’re trying to say, ‘Oh, since he has a bruise on him, I’m going to keep him and not give him back to you.’”
Jenelle later reveals how she responded to Doris keeping her son. “I said, ‘You don’t have an emergency order in place, I have primary custody, and the father has supervised visits.’ So he’s not even allowed to have [Kaiser] unsupervised, and they’re still trying to keep him from me.’”

She later calls officers again to do a “wellness checkup” on Kaiser while he’s with Doris. “He’s four. What happened was over the weekend he got a bruise on his butt. No one called me about it, but they called and made a police report. Now, DSS [Department of Social Services] is trying to investigate and hold my child at their house…. I have primary custody and they have supervised visits,” she adds. “No one will contact me from DSS, and then they won’t answer to let me talk to my child. So I just wanted to send officers over there to see if he’s okay and just make sure everything’s okay.”
